OUR MISSION
GreenTree Cooperative Grocery
empowers people and celebrates community through food and
cooperative principles.

OUR VISION
We seek to promote a healthy
world where people engage in
sustainable lifestyles with a
reduced need for petroleum and where cooperative enterprise is the foundation of a
sustainable economy.

THE INTERNATIONAL
COOPERATIVE PRINCIPALS

  1. Voluntary and Open Membership

  2. Democratic Member Control

  3. Member Economic Participation

  4. Autonomy and Independence

  5. Education, Training and Information

  6. Cooperation Among Cooperatives

  7. Concern for Community

GreenTree Cooperative Grocery is a consumer owned grocery store
operating to meet the needs of it’s local Owner/Members. Since it’s founding, the Co-op has relied on the vision,
involvement, and support of it’s Owner/Members for it’s success.
Participation is both a right and a
responsibility of Co-opOwnership. Our owners’ involvement ensures that the Co-op remains a strong, responsive,
consumer-run organization. Join us in supporting a sustainable, democratically controlled, economically fair form of business ownership!
An ownership share will cost $30/year over seven years for a $210.00
total investment.
Your share dollars (your investments) provide the Co-op with working
capital, which every business
needs to operate.
